yellow devil finger coral

I purchased this coral three weeks ago and it opens nicely with hundreds of bumps but no polyps. 29 gallon tank with two 55 watt power compacts. It is sitting fairly close to the top with moderate water flow. Any suggestions as to why there are no polyps.

Wait a couple of weeks. Does it "reach for the light?" If so, it is healthy. Mine puts out few polyps, certainly not one for every "bump" as you would expect and mine is growing quite well. Give it time. They are quite hearty.
