Woulnd't these put alot of stress on the tank? I am looking at getting one of these. I do not have room for anything else. Is there any concern that it will put too much stress on the glass and cause cracking?
You would be suprised how much weight a tank will hold.
I have a 55 g AGA that has the small CPR hang on refugium, Bak-Pak skimmer, and a 4.9 gallon surge tank hanging on the back. Add the weight of a 40 lb hood and power compact lighting setup and it's been fine for 8 months now.
Make sure your tank is level! and you will be fine.
Also, I agree with the other reply. Use a good tank!
