Has anyone else recently gotten Spectrapur DI carts that only lasted a short time?

At the end of July I replaced my Spectrapur DI cartridge with a new Spectrapur DI cart. A little over 1.5 months and my Purity Monitor is showing a red light already!

I figure that I only got about 120 to 150 gallons of RO/DI water. The RO membrane is under 1.5 years old.

I got about 6 months out of the last cartridge and only 1.5 months from this cartridge.

Rich,You could have a faulty probe and or monitor. If you still have your operations manual,it has a trouble shooting guide for the problem you posted.I really don't think your DI cartridge has exhausted this prematurely.I do not have a scanner to send this to you sorry! The troubleshootig guide can determine whether it is your probe, monitor, bad cartridge,or membrane. Also make sure you have a fresh battery in your monitor!HTH

Funny...I just went thru the same thing. My last DI cartridge had only ~70g passed thru it. Cartridge was definitely spent as color was a far cry from the new one. Someone suggested my water quality (well) may have shifted. I dunno.
