Looking to upgrade on a 55gal.
Considering the: Iwaki WMD30RLX or Little Giant 3MDQX-SC. Any ideas on performance, noise? Considered the QuietOne pump, but not sure if its powerful enough.
I like my Little giant 3mdq pump. Its quiet and durable. I have three, one on my skimmer, one running my sump and another running a closed loop on my 75 gallon tank.

I can't give you a comparison because I've never had an Iwaki, but I'm very happy with my LG 3MDQX. If I was setting up another 75 gal, I stick with LG.
