I'm new to the hobby, have had freshwater before. I've been reading up for about 3 months and found lots of good info here.

I have a 46g bow front w/ 50# LR, HOT Magnum canister. I bought crush coral before reading about the benefits of DSB or LS so i'm gonna stick with it for a while.

Tank has been up for about 2 months. Just added the clean up crew from FFExpress today, had an arrow and Half N Half chromis for about 2 weeks. Ordered 1 true percula, and a royal gramma to arrive next week.

I really LOVE the mandarin goby a saw at a LFS last week, i have read that you must have a mature tank to support one. How long would i have to wait?

Oh yeah, my original question...

Anyone know a good LFS in Eastern NC???

sounds like a nice set up you have started but you need to take some time in adding everything in. As far as mandarins go, your tank needs to be up and running for a good year before adding in this animal. They will only eat live food. If you try adding them before you have a nice mature tank, they will stand a good chance of dieing. They eat small organisms that live in the sand and or your LR. Cant remember what the name of it at the moment. As Far as a good fish store in NE Carolina there is one right there in New Bern. Just off of 17 it is on 70 as your heading twards Havlock. On the left side of the road.. think it is after the 1st light after geting off the bridge.
I have family that lives there in New Bern and was just there in June and went to this store.. Nice one.
There is another in New Bern off of 70 there down from Twin Rivers mall. (that the name of the mall?) By the old Roses...*L* Bill's pet shop. Check em out first.. never bought from them before though.
Hope this helps..

Troy

I will wait on the mandarin fish, but I will have one eventually.
