Hey guys. I finally programed my aqua JR but still have problems getting my Calcium reactor to work from the controller.
I put a cup to catch the return from the Calcium reactor and put the ph probe in there.
Then I set the aqua JR like this:
if PH > 7.25 then CO2 on
if PH < 7.50 then CO2 off

Is that correct?

Thank you.

That doesnt sound right to me. Lets say your tank will naturally wants to get to 8.00 PH so when your CO2 comes on it will lower the PH when it hits 7.50 it will trigger the event of turning the CO2 off and the CO2 will once again rise back to 8 and never trigger your 7.25 turning on.

I dont have an aqua JR but from its description it sounds event driven. I think you would want to say something like this:

if PH > 7.55 then CO2 on
if PH < 7.50 then CO2 off

if PH < 7.25 then CO2 off
if PH > 7.50 then CO2 on

This is based on your numbers. Now are you using the controller to just monitor the effluent of the reactor or the tank itself? FWIW, i have always used a separate ph probe just for the reactor and another for the tank.

Why don't you try this:

If Time>0000 CO2 ON
If pH<7.25 then CO2 OFF

And you can add this extra command if you don't want the CO2 to be on and off when the pH reading fluctuates above and below 7.25

Max change=15min then CO2 OFF.

There is something wrong in your programming, otherwise it should work ok. Post your entire program log here and also your timer setup as well.

Is the timer on auto? Manually shut it on/off and see if the solenoid clicks. If it does, then it's a programming error.
