M Megan Reefer Rating - 0% 0 0 0 May 16, 2002 #1 I have had a cyanobacteria outbreak and just treated it with Myocin. I am wondering if this will destroy the beneficial bacteria in my tank. If it does will it destroy it to the point of having to cycle the tank again? Thanks for any help, Megan

L Len Advanced Reefer Rating - 0% 0 0 0 May 16, 2002 #2 Maracyn I and II are relatively beneign to nitrifying bacteria. I wouldn't worry about it too much.
