Hello everyone, i was a member on reefs.org a couple years ago but i think i only posted twice. anyway, i had a recent expirience with harbor aquatics that i want to share.
2 months ago, I started looking for an HQI pendant system for my tank. I looked all over the net for the cheapest vendors. The system i wanted was not listed on all the websites so i called quitea few places. I called Jt at Harbor Aquatics and he got me an awesome price on the system i wanted (hqi 250 minipendant from sunlight supply. He had the company dropship it to me. WHen i got it , the company that he bought it from just lost their aquarium specialist and didn;t put the UV shield in, i killed 2 of my fish and one of my corals by running the light without the UV for almost 3 hours (my fault).
To make a long story short ithe lights broke (unknown reasons why they did so ) and JT offered to take them back no questions asked for a full refund) i decided to try to get another setup, JT arranged a brand new setup be sent to me (no cost to me) and i sent the broke one back to the company who dropshipped it. The new lights broke the same way as the old ones did. At this point i was sick of all this hastle (although not at JT, as he did everything he could to keep me happy) I told him i didn;t want this lighting setup from this company and he told me to hold on.......
this is where the story gets good. he comes back and says you have a suprise coming in 2 days. JT ordered me an AB 250 Wt HQI Aquasspacelight setup at his cost (don;t want to give that price away but its AWESOME) . I have sent the "old" broke lights back and now i have perhaps the best lighting system out there for real real cheap.
I just wanted to commend JT and Harbor aquatics for handing all the problems i had with class and style not to mention hooking me up beyond my belief. this is what a good MO company looks like folks. So i guess what i am saying is If anyone is looking at ordering anything in the future and dosn;t want to stress if things don;t go as planned (which in this hobby seems to happen more than in real life ) . Give JT or Joy a call.
their website is

Thanks JT,
a very happy customer.
