Recently I saw a BTA with a color that I have never seen before so I bought it. This BTA anemone is green but have pinkish orange tentacles tip. Before anybody suggested that this is not a BTA, let me assure you all that this is a BTA. There is no mistake in species ID of this anemone.
How rare is this color? Anybody have the same color or seen BTA with this color?
Thanks

Never heard of one, but it sure sounds cool. Guess that's what you get when you mix a green BTA w/ a rose BTA? Let's see some pictures!

Does he look similar to mine, although his green didn't come out as well in the picture? I actually bought him sight unseen from one of my LFS. They will let me order something specific, come in and pick it up in the bag for cost plus a small fee, which can save alot. Got this guy for $20.

Yea, ive seen one. Very beutifull allthough i think the colours were reversed. I think the BTA's offer the best colour variation of the longer tentacled anemonies. But the Carpets are king for really out of this world colours IMO.

I have 6500K MH and 20000K MH. The anemone have the color of a Rose BTA on the distal 2-3 mm of the tentecles . Otherwise, It look like a usual green BTA.

I have a BTA with pink tentacle tips and a pinkish purple base. The lower portion of the tentacles are a greenish tan. I think they are fairly uncommon in LFS, but I am unsure of how common this color variation is in the wild. I know that it is an E. quadricolor, but sometimes it really reminds me of the purple base H. magnifica. My perculas don't seem to know the difference.

I think flower anemones (phymanthus) beat them. Tremendous variety of colors and patterns, in an anemone that's almost as hardy as aptasia and doesn't wander. Not a bad combo
