There is some type of twig looking thing growning throughout my polyps... it seems to be wrapping itself around a few of them... Any help would be appreciated...
nned a little more info....what color is it? is it slimy looing? does it appear to have funnels at various places? does it have a regular or irregular growth pattern?

It has a irregular pattern... It doesnt appear to be slimy in any way... really just looks like a twig growing on the live rock... you can barely see along the top of the rock with the polyps..
Brad, do you mean the red growth?? I am not up on macroalgae's, but to me it appears to be a spp. of macroalgae. There is a red one and for the life of me I cannot remember the name. Seems like it is something like dragons something. HTH...
