I have a question....... on lights

Has anyone used the sealife metal halide/power compact fixture or red sea phazer compact lights from pet warehouse if so do you like them. WIll this be enough lights for a 90gal reef tank size is 36/24/30 I think it is something like that. can you add sand from the ocean in a reef tank going to the ocean this week need to get some live sand to add to my sandbed are what do you think thanks
