My LSF had 6 baby Yellow tangs in last week about the size of a quarter. I had never seen them that small :) but they were definately yellow.

Lynn, you are SO CANADIAN!!! No one here knows what a loonie is, much less a twoonie!

Doesn't sound like a yellow tang to me. Could be an atlantic blue tang, though. They are greenish-brown when young.

OK, I'll bite, what's a loonie? :?

I think Ernie's right, it's probably a carribbean blue tang. Small fish like that aren't exceptionally hardy, you'd probably want something with a little more meat on it's bones.

A loonie is a canadian coin worth one dollar. It has a loon on on the tails side. A twoonie is a candian coin worth two dollars. They are roughly the size of a Susan B Anthony dollar.
