Does anyone have any experience with BLUE LINED TRIGGERS? We were concidering one for our FOWLR. Our tank is semi aggressive, but not full out aggressive. Includes Blue Jaw Trigger, Pink Tail Trigger, Niger Trigger, Look Down Jack, Naso Tang, Fiji Puffer, Stars Stripes Puffer, Lunar Wrasse, V. Lion, Zebra eel, Banded Morray, Gold Spot Rabbit, Scribbled Rabbit, And a Purple Tang. How much hell does a Blue Lined create? Thanks

How the hell big is your tank!!? A fellow hobbyist I know has a bluline in a large (180) FO system. The thing is a menace and will take any opportunity to bite at other fish that get too close to it at times. He tried to keep a lionfish but it pestered the poor thing constantly by nipping at the fins. It also killed another smaller trigger (humu if I'm not mistaken) He keeps an eel and a clown trigger with it at present, but both triggers are sizeable and nasty. He has been bitten a couple times as well. I'd be concerned for your other peaceful fish.

Wow, that's gotta be one HUGE tank for all those fish. I'd love to see some pics...

My 110-gallon is an all-trigger tank. One 6" huma, one 6" clown, and one 3.5" blue-line.

Blue-lines are NASTY, and are right up there just behind undulates, queens, and titans as far as aggression.

Proceed with caution, for he will eventually kill everything in your tank. With those fish you have, I wouldn't do it.

Peace,

Chip

I guess, I won't be needing a Blue Lined in this tank. Sounds like a fish from hell. We run a 125gal. reef, anf the FO is a 240gal. We are going to add one more fish, and then call it quits for this tank. We once had a Crosshatch Trigger. One of the best Triggers I've ever had, unfortunately it died. I am looking for another for under 200.00.. So far we have two LFS looking for one when they shop in LA. Another shop had one but they wanted 339.00 for it. BIG outch.
