I got this pic from a friend. How can we build such amazing wall in our tank??

Either put a rock covered in GSPs nest to the wall and it will spread onto in on its own, or, something i just thought of, put a layer of glass or plexi on the wall first so you can remove it if need be.(like to trim the weed back)

I just glued some GSP to the wall and away it went. I have done it with both marine epoxy and superglue.

To trim it I score it with a fingernail or a razor and pull it off slowly. No problem!

i have a small piece on my side glass, just used gel super glue, took the GSP out and gently dried, put a couple of drops of superglue on and put back inside the tank and held for about 30 seconds and stayed on with no problem

How about Xenia Wall?

What I worrying is GSP will lose her fluro color under long period of strong MH illumination.

12 hours a day under my 250 Watt Iwasaki's hasn't deterred them one bit.... They get great coloration and have grown greatly.

Just be careful to keep the GSPs off of you main rock structure. BeerBaron didn’t call them a weed for no reason. I have a particularly nice colony that I can almost watch grow. It grows about one inch in all directions in one week!!! If they get on the main reef structure then you will be hard pressed to keep them from overgrowing other corals.\

As far as the xenia wall goes, do a search there was a huge thread about that just a couple of months ago. there was some talk of large populations of xenia crashing all at once so you might take that into consideration. As far a getting the wall started goes, just put a piece next to the glass at the bottom back of your tank and it should start growing towards the light. HTH.

totally agree with mac, my green sps look great, not those brown looking ones you see in many LFS.

also, they do grow like weeds if on live rock, i try to keep my separated, so one whole piece of live rock is covered with GSP, looks pretty good.

this picture is not that good,lights are still off. i put a piece of liverock next to the back wall a week ago and the xenia already moved onto the glass, i will post a better pic when the lights come on.

I think this is a different color strain or species rather than a product of lighting...
