How do i apply Kyolic to flake food, in order to get the best effect.

I get a few ich spots on my fish once a month or so, and i just want to help them out a bit. The spots always go away with time. I wanna make sure they pull through everytime, without a major infection.

What garlic additive did you buy, I typically buy the garlic extract in liquid form, and soak flake food in them for a few seconds before feeding.

Well i didnt buy it yet, but from doing 'searches' people have been using 'Kyolic' which i believe is a liquid form from GNC.
I was thinking I could lay some out on a tray and put a drop on each one, letting it dry then feeding it to the fish.
Do i need to have it dry? it seems to me like you just feed it to them just after soaking,,,

No, you can feed direct. Fishes hit flakes the minute it dispersed in water. As long as flakes are hydrated with garlic extract, the active ingredient will stay with the flakes for quite a while. When you are feeding flakes, all flakes should be consumed within 1/2 minutes. Anymore then that, you are feeding too much.
