Just curious. Has anyone ever tried to keep a bumblebee goby in a saltwater tank? These little fish are normally sold at the LFS as freshwater fish. I had some as such a while back and read that they actually are found in brackish water to saltwater. I slowly acclimated two to my saltwater tank and they did fine in the marine tank for at least a week. I moved them out because they were too slow and didn't seem to be getting enough food. They look cool so I was just wondering if anyone had sucessfully kept them in a marine environment.

YES, I have seen it done in a fellow reefer's tank; he had two or three of them. They aren't very active, best I can tell, but do add some color. He said all he had to do was acclimate them to the salinity level over a number of hours, and they've been happy ever since.
