Just a quick query...what species of puffers are coral-friendly? I've kept my share of FW and BW puffers and I love them...as I'm setting up a reef tank soon, I'd like to know which marine puffers are coral-friendly.
I have a saddled puffer (valentini)...he doesn't bother anything without polyps (much like my butterfly)...so it is mostly mushrooms, leathers, etc. that I keep there.
However, if you want a "reef" tank, the corals are likely the least of your worries with this puffer, as they will nibble away all the neat life in your sand and on your rock. I deal with it, but the tank he is in is not a reef tank, by any means.
