I installed a CS6-2 nearly 2 weeks ago in a 90 gal. reef. Finally am producing some foam and was wondering where other users keep the water level at? More specifically the interface between the foam and the rising bubbles. I currently have the adj. riser set so that the line betwwen the actual foam and the rising bubbles is about 1" down from the top of the tube within the collection cup. My sump level is 7" and bioload is relatively light. I have read that some users keep the riser all the way down but when I tried lowering it the foam never gets up into the cup.
Thanks,
Boba

Hmmm. The water level in my skimmer is set about 1/2" above the the weld (where main body starts to funnel in). I get consistent dry foam at this setting. I have a heavily stocked tank, and the Euroreef has been in operation for over 2 years.

Leonard, which model do you have?? The lowest mine can be set is at the weld you're talking about where the body starts to funnel in.
