I also agree that the higher and more varied the temperature, the more tolerant your specimens will be of that occasional freakish temp spike (those with chillers need not apply :wink: ) Mine goes from 81-86 on a daily basis with no problems for well over a year. Occasionally it will hit 88, but by then I usually intervene with the ice jugs and more fans...

I try to keep mine at 28.3C which is 83F. Hey CarpentersReef, what conversion calculator are you using? 27-28C is closer to 80-82F. Here's a little chart that can help with some other metric conversions you might need.
