I'm taking down my 200g this weekend, and its filled with aragonite. Can I wash it or something so I might be able to reuse when I want to set-up new system?
You can keep them in a garbage can with old tank water. Throw in a powerhead to keep water moving. Keep the lid on to starve algae. If you do not feed the pods, at least the nitrifying bacteria will stay alive until you use it next time. If you throw a few pieces of LR, and feed the pods, this is essentially a low maintenance pod farm.
