I finally finished it.
A 50 gallon long sump/refugium.
My tank sits in the dining room and the sump/fuge is on the otherside of the wall in the garage.
Here is the back of my tank with the single Sea-Swirl.

Looks great. Do you have a union connection on the Mag 18? How will you remove it for maintenance?

yes the mag is connected only by a threaded piiece.

Looks great Sean! I will never have another serious reef tank without a remote sump/refugium.
Is you garage heated?

NO it is NOT. That has become a concern for me.
Was thinking of securing insulation around the tank for the next month.

build a small cabinet around the refuge and insulate it, that should be enough to keep to descent levels of temp.
