Thanks. Sorry, I don't know the tech. name. They love strong light, and most important, plenty of flow. I don't know your location, but I picked it up at the aquatic warehouse, in San Diego Ca.. They go for 59.00, They keep them on hand often.

Thanks Harpo. I live in the San Fernando Valley but I checked mapquest and my brother just happens to live just 8 miles from Aquatic Warehouse. I'm going to have him take a look since he will be coming up to LA over the weekend. Hopefully, they will have some.

These blue gorgs are popping up all over southern california. I am hesitant to get one until I know more about them.

-This gorg looks like it is in the Diodogorgia family. These gorgs are aposynthetic and generally don't last long in the aquarium.

Actually, I think the word Steve is really looking for is ahermatypic.

-No acually I was using the word that Eric Borneman used on page 159 of his Aquarium Corals book to describe a Diodogorgia nodulifera which appears to me to closely resemble the gorg that was posted. Your word is nice though too Chucker :) .
