Buuuzz, sorry Chucker. SPC is 100% correct. While true it is likely ahermatypic it does poorly in aquariums because it lacks zooxanthellae, not because it doesn't have a calcium based body. See:

aposymbiotic (a' -puh-sim-bee-ah'-tik) - describing corals that do not contain the mutualistic algae commonly known as zooxanthellae.

ahermatypic (ay'-her-mah-tip'-ik) - describing a type of coral that does not contribute substantially to building the matrix or calcareous framework of a coral reef; nonreef-building.

Not photosynthetic? Just figures. Now I'm hesistant to spend the $$$ on this coral if it is going to have a poor survival rate. But then again, I bought a bright green goniopora flowerpot two years ago and it continues to do well despite its known history in a closed system. Hmmm. I'll check the local shops to see if there is any around to look at. Haven't bought anything in a while anyways.
