Can anyone tell me how long a CBS carries eggs before they are hatched? I have a mated pair and the female seems to have eggs, but she has been carrying them for a few weeks and nothing has happened.
They breed every month in my tank, like clockwork. When the famle is getting ready to release, the egg mass under her abdomen will turn from the blue color to a clear-grey-white. and look "fuzzier."At that point the eggs are hatched and it's all larvae under there.
