Well.......I needed I neede my "marine aquaria" fix today. It was real bad today. I was trying to refrain from goin to the LFS today. My Bills are not gettin paid like they should. Well it was 15 minutes to closing time at my Favorite LFS. I have a long time friend that worked there and her husband owns the place. My hands were gettin jittery ands I was breakin out in a sweat. I had finally decided to go and just purchas a snail.LOL They have some real cool Orange Turbo's. Well I jump in my car and I got no gas....I am low on money too. I decide the gas will have to wat till I get to the shop.it is 8 miles away.maybe less. Can I make it?.I am goin anyway....I race to the shop as he is locking the door but lets me in. I am on my way to check out the snails and I catch a glimpse of purple in the corner of my eye........it is on a very large piece of liverock. It is in the tank that is 4 bucks a pound. I pick it up....woweeeeeee! It is full of life and lots of holes and nicely shaped. I think.I wonder if it will fit in my tank.I am sweating so much I look like I wet my pants. I say to my friend."weigh it"............it is 8 pounds. He says that it should be 9 bucks a pound because it is premium cultured rock but he did not have room to put it another tank. I say "Noway! Please help me buddy.look at me.I am a mess!" He says ok 4 bucks a pound. I reach into my pocket.pull out a few quarters and say this has to be gas money.I only had 10 bills with me.so I write him a rubber check.I get the rock and now it is in my tank. I get paid in two days so I hope I am able to cover the check. I feel very calm now.and relaxed.I got my Fix for the day.but what will I do monday.Ha!.I am goin to go get that orange Turbo. :twisted:
