I picked up a bubble tip aneonme the other day and I absolutely love it. I placed her on a secure piece of LR and she hasn't moved since. My tomato clowns haven't accepted the BT as a host yet. Every now and then the female (big) clown would stare at the BT but that's about it. My question is, how long would you say it take for a clown to accept an anemone as a host?

To tell you the truth, it might be today, or it might be never. Clowns can be pretty selective in their hosts (for unknown reasons). There's really nothing you can do about it. FWIW, Tomato clowns (A.frenatus) are naturally hosted by BTA (E.quadricolor). Hopefully, the clown realizes this fact soon ;)

I added my BTA before the clarkii clowns. However, within 30 minutes of adding the clowns the little guy dove in. By the end of the day (5-6 hours later) the larger clown had taken over, now, two weeks later, they are sharing like a good husband and wife (although the wife literally hogs the bed at night... man, why does that seem so familiar :? )
