I'm looking to buy a calcium reactor, but don't know much about the brands(good or bad). I was hoping, some of you could fill me in on what the good brands are, and where to buy one on-line. Thanks for any help. BILL :D

I second the Geo. For about 1/2 to 1/3rd the price of "commercial" reactors, you get an equivalent reactor.

Bottom line is simply: you get what you pay for

If you plan on keeping SPS go for a Pro Cal reactor.
Super 'fit and finish' , and no fiddlin' once you set it up.

The best product in reactors... period.

If you have a small system <90 gal with not muc SPS, just go for the kalk drip method.

Harpo,
There's a guy in Clairmont that's building reactors. I saw them on Sunday and their very nice. I think they start at 120.00. If you like I can get you his e-mail.
