I have a 50 gal tank with a CSL 2 96 watt PC Complete hood. How can i or is it possile to add more light? there is some room on the rear of the tank.If i can what light do you reccomend?any input will help thanks. :?
I dont know how you are for cash...but here is a retrofit for a typical 50 gal tank....with 4x96 watt pcs which would kick butt....or you could buy a bigger reflector, and add the other 2 your self...this company will be your best deal, I have thier 4x55 system on my 20
If you're somewhat handy w/ power tools you can build an enclosure relatively inexpensively and get reflectors/retro kits for MH and PC systems. You could probably re-use your ballast (w/ some re-wiring). You can also buy pre-made enclosures, w/ any combination you want! They get rather pricey tho.
