I was just wondering how many of you have a spray bar behind your live rock. I have a 125 gallon tank with mostly sps corals with about 1800 gph running off of 2 pumps into 2 x 1" seaswirls. With that much current do I need to have a srpay behind the rocks or is there enough current where I don't need it?

Actually I also have a 125 gal with about a 30 gal "long" sump and I use a spray bar simply to diffuse the water coming into the tank, the other option is to have this MASSIVE FLOW coming out of one PVC pipe, I would think this would do some sort of damage, I have been very happy with the performance of my spray bar!! it give gentle flow all across the back, aimed toward the front of the tank and it is right at the water surface so also creates a little surface agitation!!

good luck!
