I just purchased a Tripp-lite APS-512 and a Concorde PVX-840T AGM sealed (deep-cell) battery.
The Tripp-lite directions call for a fuse (with a minimum of 100 amps) between Tripp-lite and the battery (on + side connection).
I am electrically challenged and need help from those less so. Since it calls for "minimum of 100 amp fuse", is there a preference for 100amp vis-a-vis something larger? If so, how much larger can/should I go?
Also, can I purchase battery cables with fuse already in-line? If not, is there anything (or many things) I need to know about installation of fuse?
Thanks for the help.
