Power Compact Questions ???

Im looking at buying a Jalli 36" 2x96W Power Compact "Deluxe" Hood.

1. Has anyone had experience with Jalli, or this hood specifically?

2. Which is better... One 6700K and One Actinic -or- Two Smart Lamps for even distribution of light???

What size of tank will it be over?

IMO the 6700+actinic will look whiter than the smart lamp will.

its a 30 gallon long, 36x12x16

why not get a retrofit kit and build your own canopy? i got my 2x96 watt kit for less than 200 bucks from ahsupply...........

Because i can get the whole hood, brand new prefab, with bulbs, fans, and dual plugs for seperate timers... for just under $200.

ah i see.........i would go with a 10k and actinic combo.........
