I have 2 objects that are about the size of marble sitting on my sand bed. They are grey and look like miniature brains with a hole on the top. can quite see what is inside without disturbing it. it also has this gluey stringy mess stuck to the top of it and waving in the current.
I have 30 gallon reef with a few clowns and a variety of hermits and snails. could it be an egg casing? not the first time it showed up but the last time it just disappeared in the night.
any ideas?
