I have a pair of Domino Damsels that suddenly went from just picking on each other to terrorizing my chalk bass to the point that he got pop eye. I have a 55 gal w/ 45lb of LR. a yellow tang, a chalk bass and (had) 2 domino devils for about 6 months. They have always been territorial but the bickering was usually between the two over who had the best hangout. The chalk bass suddenly came up with pop-eye. Then the little SOB's really tied into him. I have my suspicions that they were the cause. I had to take out just about ALL of the LR to get the little devils out. They have been sentenced to the hospital tank till a new home is found or they take a swirly. Just wondering what would set them off?
The chalk bass has since healed and is relaxing w/o stress : )

Domino damsels=one of the most aggressive damsels out there. They get very mean as they age. I suppose their spots have started to fade now as well? That's about the right time for them to get ornary. Time to evict them if you want to keep much else in the tank.

I had two that turned into little monsters almost overnight. Seems once they reach a certain size and are comfy with their surroundings,...look out! I recently saw a 6" Domino at the LFS that someone had just brought in. Word was that it killed everything in this guys 500 gal tank in one night! Bad dream? Mine were only about 1 1/2 inch when they turned nasty and only got worse as time went on. I finally had to kick them out of the house. I still see one of them at the LFS when I visit. Been there about 2 months now. Rumor has it the other one turned into eel meal. 8O
