If I have two anenomes in one tank, and I put 2 pairs of tank raised clowns in at the same time, will they pair off correctly?

You would have to have a pretty big tank, and it also depends of the species of clowns you want, some are more peacefull than others.

I think it would be a big risk unless you tried it with juviniles in like a 125 or so.

Clowns can be fiesty, remember they are damsels.

Well I'd be getting them from liveaquaria.com and they claim that if you put their tank raised clowns in at the same time they'll tolerate eachother.

Are there any special ways to acclamate clowns/anenomes to get them to form a relationship? I mean things like putting them in a QT tank together, once they decide to live there move the whole setup into my main tank? Or after acclamating and before putting them into the tank, put the clowns into the bag with the anenome?

IME there is no reliable way to get clowns to host in an offered anemone, other than patience. Particularly since it is often not practical to pair the common species of clowns with the exact species of anemone they would choose in nature. I have a hadonni anemone with Ocellaris clowns; the big one (presumably becoming the female) accepted the anemone after 6-8 months. Of the 3 remaining juvenile clowns, I suspect one will eventually team up with the lady clown & her anemone but it has been over a year now, and they are in no hurry.
