I'll check the local depot where I've purchased it in the past
in orange,CT and see If there's still any there. Usually this
time of year its hard to come by.
Did a new reef store open on the Post Rd?? I remember the owner of Marine Inverts. was killed, but someone told me one of the employees reopened the store??? Im not sure if this is true.
FEW, sorry, checked out the depot in orange last
night and they don't have it anymore. Last I purchased
it was about a year ago so I'm not sure how long its
been gone.
Imow, yeah it was too bad about marine invertebrates.
He was a good guy and had some nice stuff. The new
place is called Coral Reef imports. I've only been there
a couple times. Their hours are irregular or had been
in the past so they'd often be closed when I'd pass by.
There just as good in quality as MI's was and prices are
pretty good. I talked to the owner and evidently he was
the supplier to charlie at marine inverts before he died.
Seems like a nice guy. I'll have to go back soon.
BTW they're located about a quarter mile south of where
marine inverts was on the same side of the road in the
shopping plaza by carvel ice cream.
i have seen SD here in brooklyn, but you have to ask to go back and get it. it is locked up with all the other outside gardening stuff-peatmoss, woodchips and the like.
They might still have it at your HD, you might just have to look around for it.
