I travel to Houston for a larger selection and competitive prices than LFS in my area where I live. I have found a Houston LFS that I really like and I think you will too.

Fish Land
13155 Westheimer Suite 114

The owner's name is Andy. He is a tall Asian fellow who loves this hobby and enjoys his business. He is trully a gentleman and is very knowlegable and will help you solve the problems you are having without selling you a bunch of stuff you don't need.

I hate it when I go to Houston stores and can't get waited on or the persons working are in a bad mood when you browse too long.

You won't have this problem at Fish Land. The best is his prices are Internet prices, or as close as you could expect. Sometimes at the register he will take another 10% off. His store is small compared to some stores I've been to but he is well stocked with the most needed items. Plenty of beautifull fish and corals. His tank prices are half price of what they ask for them in my local area.
I come from I-10 East heading West, I take the Eldridge Parkway exit, that is one exit past Dairy Ashford. Turn left and at Westheimer take a left and the strip mall he is in is on the right about 100yds.

Fish Land is located in the Windchimes Shopping Center. His store is pretty clean. And the price for his tank/stand is pretty cheap.

Here's a website to his store:
http://www.kinpark.com/fishland/

He have pretty good price on the full acropora colonies too.

Thanks for the link. I didn't know he had a site.

He always says to call him just to chat but I'd rather go in because I can always use a couple more snails or a new coral.

Fish Land is less than five minutes from my house, and most of my animals are from there. Ditto the above comments.

Also in that same shopping center, the Indian and Chinese restaurants have killer buffets. (<=== gorging on buffet icon)
