Is there a warranty on Metal Halide bulbs?

One of my 400w Ushios will not start anymore and I've just purchased a replacement from Marine Depot. The one that will not start is only 3 months old and there is a fragmented piece of glass that appears to have burned off within the bulb itself. Marine depot has not yet responded to my warranty inquiry and they did charge me for the replacement. Does anyone know if there is a warranty for these bulbs? Do I need to go directly to Ushio?

I usually get my bulbs from hellolights.com and I had a bulb explode after 3 months of use. They replaced the bulb no questions asked. I've talked to others who have had bulb issues (burn outs, bad starts, etc.) and they either replaced the bulb outright or offered a prorated discount on the new bulb based on age of the old bulb.

If your vendor is unwilling to work with you I would suggest using a different vendor next time.
