After three days I finally have my 55 moved into my new 125 AGA reef ready tank. I use a 20 gallon high for a sump and I am going to get the fittings for the Berlin Turbo to turn it into a venturi driven with a Kent Venturi valve. Next I'll get started on the waterfall noise, as well as building a hood. Soon I'll post photos on my link. Thanks for listening!

I'm jealous. I have an empty 125 AGA-RR setting behind me right now. I'm slowly collecting the stuff I need to get it going. $$$! I'm curious about your lights and return pump. And did you do a DSB? The tanks kinda shallow for more than a 3-4" bed.

I run a mag 18 for the return. According to the Danner website it will pump 1400-1450 an hour at 4' head. I also split the line so I probably lose another 150 gph. I am going to add on my 2 maxi jets as soon as I get a wave maker. My lighting is now 4x46.5" 110 watt VHOs(URI 2xactinic, 2xaquasun). I plan on adding a 150 watt HQI DE(10k) to the center of the tank once I make the hood.

The DSB I had needed to be added to being I had a 4" sand bed in my 55. So I first added 170 lbs of new sand(no SD available on the Long Island area for a week or two and I couldn't wait, so I got my LFS to get me a deal. And he did). Then I added my DSB from my 55 making the tally about 250 lbs of sand. Away from the overflows the DSB is 5"-6" and 4"-5" near the overflows. Now I need to add a baffle to my 20 gallon high AGA tank to lessen the tiny bubbles.
