Aqua safe maximus help!!!

hello my fellow reefers i just bought this ro unit from member Romain
i read the article that came with the unit and did everything as told
red tube .. was connected to faucet
yellow to drain
blue to water tank
white to a collection to hold water that was filtered

my problem is i have no flow from the unit after everythiing was connected i turned on the sink full blast ( i have enourmus pressure) but the ro dripped really slow like one drip every 20 seconds

the flush valve is in the operational position

Please give me some help

i might just give it back to romain but i really want to try everything first

is this a new unit? if not, have u change the filters?

Water pressure, you really need to have it pretty high, can tell unless you have a gauge.

Filters may be old.

cold water is very slow.

if water is passing through it is probally set up right but post a pic

the filters are fine almost new, water flows through the unit just very very slow

Welcom to the world of RO/DI. :irked: Mine is just as slow. 100gpd unit takes several days to make 44gl.

Does the unit have a pressure guage? if so what's it reading? or are you judging by eye your pressure?

If low, you'll need a booster pump. If not, check the filters as previously stated.

the flush valve is only open when you want to flush the filter and closed during regular operation. if you have that open then everything goes to the waste line
