I've never heard of it, but it looks like a seaclown knockoff... so I would guess no.

IMO a skimmer cannot be had for less than $150.

Much the same as you could buy a "car" for $200 but...........

If you're looking to keep costs down on a skimmer:
Aqua C are ok but noisy and require a loud and wattage heavy pump
ASM skimmer are good but in sump only

zxknight, that skimmer looks very much like the seaclone. If you like you can try one of my seaclones before you go spending your money, and see for yourself. I use the seaclones in QT tanks, or for curing lr.
