For those that use co2 with their calcium reactors, please make sure the co2 is the food grade choice. Some companies use oil in the production of co2, the evidence is oil buildup in pressure building regulators. This oil will also be in the aquarium 8O I have seen soda products tainted by this oil!!
You can get food grade co2 from beverage companies, soda fountain companies, Coca-Cola,as well as other companies will sell co2 in cylinders as long as there is a deposite given for the tank.

hi.
I just want to say that for those who concern about the issue, you can add an inline filter instead.

I thought most people just got their tanks filled at welding supply places. Are you saying this isn't a good thing to do? (I wouldn't think welders use food grade CO2)

I don't think that welders use CO2! Welding supply stores carry CO2, however it is mostly used by restaurants, etc.

hi.
CO2, Ar, and N2 are all used by welders to protect Al, Ti, and other reactive metal/alloy during welding process.
