shroom issuses

I have a shroom that was on a rock for a while 2.5 diam. all of a sudden it pops off and is floating around. Thing has kept it self open like an umbrella even after being touched. Should I try to lay it on a rock and see if it stays. I would like to know what if anything should I do.
