hi.
The coralline patch as well as some of the corals shows that some of the items in the image is reflection of each others. When there is an axis of reflection, a question of which direction is "up" is not trivial.

Neat pics. Both can't be top up because the pics are 180 degree rotation of the other. LFS42 is closest, but not exact. This is effect can also be accomplished by lense or photoshop technique, I guess....

My guess is that the bottom pic is taken with the camera aimed toward the water surface, but at a slight angle (see the line of refection on the coralline patches). The water surface will be like a mirror, and account for the slightly more blurr in the top (reflected) image. The water surface is pretty close to the tips of the corals, as you can tell from the distance between the real and reflected items.

Looks like you need to level your tank slightly better

TheMaroonClown,

Nope LOL the bottom is definately the correct one but the clams are definately on the bottom 8P.

O P Ing is right. The focus of the picture is the surface of the water taken at a sharp angle from a low point relative to the tank. You can tell on the bottom pic that the corals on the bottom portion are clearer. The yellow staghorn on the bottom left is also the dead giveaway as it seems impossible to get a reflection of a coral being so close to it.
