All right sports fans, today’s curve ball question. I have a 29-gallon glass reef tank with an Eclipse system. (If I had it to do over again I would not have done it but it was a gift.) The tank has been up approx 1.5 years and I keep it in my office at work. It is in excellent shape but the best lighting I can have is a 32-watt PC retro kit. (And that is what I have.) Lately I have been thinking about changing the hood so I can get enhanced lighting. Right now, my frogspawn, leather and mushrooms are fine. (As previously posted, I have a newly introduced bubble, which is off to a good start.)

Maybe I should leave well enough alone and stick with what I have but I am tempted to change the setup. What do you all think?

ahsupply has 55 watt PC's that are 22 inches long, I would think yoiu could probably squeeze 3 of them over your tank

try championlighting.com, they've got some good options. ahsupply is good too. hellolighting can have great prices.

if you go pc's try to get opposing bulbs not all socketed from one side. otherwise you'll get a shaded side.
