Having my tank has been very educational for my daughter. Her first word was FISH pronounced SISH. Very cool! :D

Sea Dick?.....Dah.........? Is that tank finished yet? Get goin.I want to see it completely stocked. The First word that came out of my oldest sons mouth was F*uck..it took us a while to figure out that he was sayin Truck. We lived in an area where he often saw the local firetruck......and he was fascinated with that truck. Hey Seamaiden....sounds fumnny hearing my grown daughters calling me Daddy. One is 30 years old. My brothers daughter calls him Pappa.

Keep the tank, Keep the tank, Keep the tank, Keep the tank, Keep the tank, Keep the tank. Your energy will be directed elsewhere, particularly for the first 3-6months, but then you'll really want to return to some of your hobbies. I would recommend holding off on the full reef conversion, and look for ways to automate the system. Automatic top off, Automatic feeder, timers, sump/refugium to absorb nutrients and reduce the need for water changes. One other great use for the tank will be that it will amuse your new baby tremendously. The colors, water movement, fish etc are thrilling for small children. My 2 and a half year old helps me feed the tank and do maintenance. She loves the crabs, snails, and shrimp. She runs screaming with excitement when she sees the peppermint shrimp. When you feel the need to expand, you can convert to reef later. Good luck with the baby!

Take it from me, KEEP THE TANK.

I was in the hobby for along time, then almost 2 yeras ago, I decided to sell everything(was not spending enough time).

Well here I am now, my tank is due Feb 12th and will be dropping 8K in the next few months. True I am going twice as big 300g now, I had 150g. So the tank would of been replaced anyway.

But I gave up some great equipment, especially my vario doser, I got it for next to nothing and now I see they are 279.00 :),not to metion 300 Lbs of LR.

You will want to come back some day. Its not a questions of if, its when :)
