Which MH setup would you suggest...

I am planning my upgrade from my current tank and have been going over upgrading to MH. I was planning on just using the 2 x 55 watt PC unit I have on my 5 1/2 and moving it to either a 10 or 20 gallon setup but now I am considering MH.

Which units/combos would you use on a 10 or 20 gallon system? Ideally I would not want to have to suspend something from my ceiling....I would like to enclose it in some kind of hood, but am I mistaken that I would then need a glass top to filter out some of the UV?

Any ideas/suggestions would be appreciated.

Edit: Oops, almost forgot about PC/VHO supplementation...I would like to incorporate that also...

To simplify things, I would go with a single 175W 10KK halide supplemented with 2 PC actinics that you own. That would give you plenty of light for anything, without the headaches associated with double-ended bulbs. Using the 175W halide, no UV shield is needed, and heat is less of an issue. Plus, 175W is a cheap format to run in the short and long run. Perfect for a 20 gallon high-light tank.
