20,000K, 150 Watt HQI or 175W Coralife experiences...?

I would very much like to hear about any and all experiences with the 20,000K bulbs, BUT PARTICULARILY the 150 Watt HQI 20,000K double ended bulb...?

I am wondering what the color is like, and wether or not animals florescence a little more with the higher blue arc...

I would really like to run MH only on my furture 20 gallon, but would enjoy having with a little more of the garish florescence effect that actinic gives without having to have actinics at all...

I wasn't real impressed with the radium 20k 150 DE, and have yet to get my grubby paws on an aqualine 20k (they are coming out with one soon). On a 20 gallon I'm sure it would be fine. I really liked the combo of 150w radium and 250w DE 10k AB but that would be kinda senseless on a 20 hehe.

Thanks for the info Jeremy... It will be interesting to see what aqualine produces--they are a fine company... I see that you have such great prices prices on their Aquastarlight, which in a 24" fixture would be ideal for my tank.

Did the radium produce a florescence effect at all?

Not to the degree that a VHO type actinic does. It was too blue for my taste, but that's personal preference. I didn't care for the intensity factor vs. the 10k DE either.
