I recently got a pair of 10K blueline bulbs and man are they blue! I was not prepared for the color of these bulbs. I am running 2 175w along with 1 65w blue PC, 1 96w blue PC and 1 65w smartlight. I was told that it may take at least 20 total hours of on time for these bulbs to reach their "burn in" and settle at the color they will ramain at. Is this true? Anyone that is using the BLUELINE 10K bulbs, are yours as blue as mine. i wish I had a pic. I was also under the impression that these lights were more "white".

Oh yeah, they don't look half as bright, illumination wise, as my original 5.5K Venture bulbs.

Any feedback would be helpfull.

Thanks all

Yup, They sure are bule ! I found out the hard way too. Wish I had read the recent post on favorite 175W blubs before I bought them. I went from the Ushio to the blueline because I wanted to try them out. What a waste of money.

The Ushio look twice a bright IMO and I'm switching back.

I have yet to see a Blueline bulb last 6 monthes. They are the worst bulb ive seen. the color is way off. I like Ushio of hamiltons the best. Sorry for your surprise.

Well, the only think I can add is that after the burn-in, the bulb will lose some of it's blueness.

After some use, your bulbs will get a nifty black spot on the business side of the gas pocket.
