I'm starting to plan what I want to do with my tank at college this year. Here is my idea so far. I wanted to make an anemone species tank, maybe put some clams in it. I replaced the lighting on my 75 with 400s, so I have an extra 175watt halide that I am gonna bring up with me to school. That should be enough lighting over a 10gal tank to keep an anemone. I was thinking of a bubble tip for the tank. I wanted to get a little live rock and make the right side a pile of rock, and have a lot of open sand space on the left that I could put clams and maybe an open brain there. I've got a sump I can use to increase the tank volume, and then have nice circulation in there. I think it'll turn out to be a cool tank, last year I had PCs on it and I was keeping clams and stuff, what do you guys think of this setup. I've also got a RS Prizm skimmer from last year for it, I don't know if I'll use it though. TIA.

sounds like a blazing tank! 8) i think you'll need the prizm in this tank. the other probably could've gone without.

are you going to transplant or setup entirely at school? good luck either way and post pics when you're done.

I'm gonna set it up right at school. I already left the tank and equipment up there from last year, I just gotta rig the halide to hang so I don't boil my water then cycle.

Tank plans sounds good to me. Only small thing I'd keep my eye out on is the temperature during the summer. You might want to setup and cycle the tank, now, but wait until temp is cooler during the fall to start stocking. I can't keep my MH-lit nano cool during the summer (~90 degrees) without my Iceprobe chiller.
