my maroon has found a home nestled amongst the stalks of my pulsating xenia. i don't have an anemone so i suppose that's why. any thoughts?

as long as it has a home... :wink: (yes,that's probly why, and it shouldn't present any problems.)

there is one thing i'd suggest you keep an eye out for-sometimes clowns will nibble off a tentacle of their host, occasionally-not a huge concern, just something you should be aware of-the occasional nibble, if it occurs, probly won't hurt the colony, as a whole.
also, you may see the xenia stop pumping, initially-an irritation response from the clown-if this happens, it will also probly be temporary.(just a heads up, fwiw)

funny you should mention the possibility of a non-pulsating xenia. i did notice that happened for a couple days. but it has been fine ever since. :D
